Great local bar with karaoke, exceptional food and especially wings.
Bouncers are a joke, and the bar allows them to act in any way they want, and make personal vendetta's. It's no where near a professional establishment. They are going to be investigated for misconduct apparently. Thumper used to be a good time with no drama. I can't wait for them to be shut down and someone who can actually run a business to over. They allow people who break bottles over one an others heads to return the next week. We constantly see them breaking the law, and they have zero sense of how to serve customers. Dirty and ghetto bar that only tries to keep the wrong dramatic people in. They have mistreated many others including myself and we will never return.
Slow service. Wing night, Leafs/Canadiens opener. So I understand it was busy. But.. 10 min wait for drinks. Another 10 min before our food order was taken. And 30 min to get 2 lbs of wings and some fries. Our server checked on our drinks when they were getting low, but not once did she offer an apology for the wait.
Good experience. Ordered some wings but was initially given flavour I had not ordered. When I told server she promptly took them back and returned with correct wings. She apologized and took responsibility for the mix up. Great service. It is a bar but i like that atmosphere once in awhile as a change from the chain type eatery/lounges.
