I travel for work and stay at hotels about 75 nights a year. Havent stayed at this hotel in Cold Lake before but did so this time and will only stay there going forward. All the amenities you need and great staff. Back in October for 3 nights, already booked here!!
Great hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool with waterslide is excellent for the kids. Coffee and water available all the time is such a nice touch!
Attended a childs birthday party. The pool with the slide was outstanding. The prices, not so much.
BW in Cold Lake is two buildings and they don't let you know which one you are booked into. It is the same price for the lovely hotel as the cramped motel on the property. The parking does not have room for all the guests even if you book in with your license. They have strange standards for breakfast so don't expect that you will receive it. The motel portion has cement steps up so it is difficult if you have mobility problems. We do not recommend.
Not overly impressed as numerous issues. Main ones being Elevators broken (although fixed in a few hours), ice machines broken on my floor and no ice bucket, rooms not prepared until almost 5pm for 3pm check in, parking lot extremely small good luck finding a spot if not there early, of course if you are there early your room won't be ready. One upside is that their TV channel selection and free internet access seems top notch, quite possibly the best I've had in a hotel.
